Tashara Pruett-Gibbons '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9" Power forward from Lompoc, CA. I have been a starter on the Lompoc High School varsity team for 2 years and am entering my 3rd year as a senior. I earned 1st team all-league 3A my junior season and the McCann award for top rebounder at Lompoc High School.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and the court. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Criminology. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I would be able to make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I would absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities.  I have a lot to offer academically and athletically. I am a team player and put all of myself into each play and each game.
