Shireen Qishta '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the valedictorian of my senior class as well as a leader on and off the court. I am a 4 year varsity player and currently a captain of my basketball team. I hope to attend a 4 year university where I can play basketball as well as major in kinesiology. After completing my undergraduate, I would like to go to medical school to fulfill my dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. I have one of the highest 3 point and rebounding percentages on my team. I believe that defense is just as important as offense and is my strength. Though basketball is my main sport, I also play volleyball and softball to help me train for the upcoming basketball season. I am not only a leader on the court but also in the school. I am on the board for many academic clubs and I aid struggling students by tutoring. I will always give 110%, work hard, and never give up.
