Rhiana Dougan '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rhiana Dougan, and I am entering my Senior year of high school.  During the coarse of my junior year of my basketball season we were 31 and 4 status and won Valley Championship in our division II league.  I also received player of the week.  I am very proud of myself and my team.  I was attending Centennial High School for my Freshman and Sophmore years, there I played on the Varsity team and made Rookie of the Year and 2nd team my Freshman year and 1st team for my Sophmore year along with honorable mention. I will currently play on Varsity at Garces Memorial High. I also play for a travel team which is in Los Angeles, CA for a club team named Cal Sparks the coach and CEO of this organization name is Elbert Kinnebrew. We travel to many tournaments and this summer my team was undefeated in the month of July which was very exciting being how intense our games were at times.  That is what I strive for is to be the best on the court and be strong, I am a shooting guard for both teams I play for, I have played this position for as long as I have played basketball. I am a smart player, I am a strong 3 point shooter and a very very good defense player.

My goal this season is to make an impression to coaches out there who are viewing us players and hopefully will be seen by a coach who needs a player such as myself.  I am currently thinking of what I would like to major in I just can't believe how fast these two years have gone and now I find myself thinking of what it is I want to do and where I would like to go to college.  I have been having the time of my life playing for these schools and the travel team its been hard work along the way with all the training and the extra things and time I put in to becoming a better player and team mate.  I give all effort when I am on the court I don't let anyone or anything stop what it is I have to do to be focused to win and to achieve a stronger me.
