All my career I have been told I couldnt play basketball. So, I dedicated my mornings, lunch periods, and nights to countless hours of practice and repetition. I wanted to be the player ive dreamt of being since I was a little girl, and I wont stop till I become that player. I have been described as the player with the most dedication, commitment, and hardest work ethic , my perseverance is something I pride myself in. My junior year I recived a scholarship to attend IMG Academy for basketball in Bradenton, Florida. It was game changing for me, it taught me leadership qualities and what it takes to play at the next level that most people will never get the experience I did at that school.I can be a player you can count on to not only lead the team, but handle myself in the classroom and community. The beginning of my senior year i struggled with mono that made me fall behind my first semester, however that will not stop me from excelling like i usually do in the classroom. Community service is a large part of my life, especially working with children in need. Im different from the rest because I don't expect anything given to me, anything valuable in life, I understand you have to work for it and Im very willing to prove to you that I will not give up chasing my dreams and helping anyone with theirs.
