Tanna Decker '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am a very aggressive Point Guard in my Freshman year at Camp Verde High School. I am very passionate about basketball and play club, organized rec, travel-tournament, and school basketball. I have been playing since I was 6 years old, committing quality time each day practicing, learning new skills, developing and mastering skills, and executing new strategies to ensure that I'm bringing my very best performance to the court every single game!

     My dream is to continue to improve and grow my basketball skills and ultimately play for a quality academic and reputable college that has a strong basketball program.  Currently, I don't have a preferred field of study, but I have several interests that I am still considering at this time.  My determination to win on the court matches my discipline with my school studies, my current GPA is a 3.6. 

    As a Freshman I was the starting varsity point guard and I led our team in 3 point %, assists, steals and deflections. I was the 2nd leading team scorer behind our senior post player & I routinely eclipse double digits (as a cumulative of shooting 3's and driving to the basket). My advanced basketball I.Q. is a result of years of practices and work-outs with several ex-NBA & European Pro players, current NBA assistant coaches, and ex-college players.  In preparation of my collegiate career - I work with an Ex-Oregan State Strength Trainer twice a week to advance my agility, strength and endurance.  Along with my strong schedule of year-round basketball I also work routinely with a personal shooting coach.

 I am open to play in any division and in any region of the country that will allow me to pursue my passion of basketball!
