I’m a 5’3, 150 lb catcher from Racine, Wisconsin. I will graduate from Racine Lutheran High School, class of 2021. I am the starting Varsity catcher. I have been playing ball for eleven years, softball for six. I have a very stable understanding of the game of softball. I bring a lot of things to the team, such as, I am a team player. I like to pick my team up when they are down.I have a 3.78 GPA for the first semester of high school. I have been on high honor roll since sixth grade.
My mother started a travel softball team, Sturtevant Phoenix. We are a brand new team, and we took second place in our first local tournament. I have a pop time of 1.68, which is good for my age. I was a team captain on my rec ball team, and current team captain on my travel ball team. I work hard at practice. I am the first to get to the field and last to leave. I have ambition like no other.
I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom
and the field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic
reputation in the field of Criminal Justice / Political Science. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DI, DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII
Opportunities.
I am interested in all schools in the Midwest. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process, as my family will have high need. I would be willing to travel farther to a school with less out of pocket expense.
