Ashley Ditmore '22 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with pitching when I was 8 years old and I've been a pitcher ever since.  Working hard to get better is not an issue for me, I enjoy practice, pitching lessons and putting in the time necessary to improve as a player and pitcher. I love being part of a team and being a person and player that my teammates can rely on.  I believe in being a great teammate as well as great player.  

On the mound, I am able to keep my composure and repeat my windup. I don't let things rattle me and I don't get down on myself.  Being a player that my teammates and coaches can count on is something that is very important to me. I will pitch every inning of every game if possible. Being a workhorse is something I take great pride in.

My goals are to play softball at the collegiate level. I have been to many college camps and have seen what it takes to get there and I believe i have the work ethic and mentality to accomplish that.  Players may be taller, stronger or faster than me but i believe no one will work harder than me.
