Krissa Powell '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Krissa Powell. I am from Pearland, Texas and I have lived here all my life. I have played softball since I was eight years old, and it has been my passion ever since. I started taking pitching lessons eight years ago, and have also been taking hitting lessons for the past four years. I am currently a senior at Pearland High School and will graduate in the class of 2012. I made varsity my junior year, in which we placed third in the state. I am looking forward to continuing my softball career in college, and all the challenges and experiences it will bring me. With my strong desire for the game, I feel I have the athletic ability and work ethic to compliment any team. I plan to major in Animal Science and possibly go further into veterinarian school. I know I have started the recruiting process late, but I still think there is a place for me to play competitive softball.
