I grew up and was raised in a single parent household. It has only been my mom and I for as long as I can remember. She is my biggest inspiration. She is the reason why I became athletic, I wanted to grow up and be just like her. When she was younger she played in so many sports that I wanted to do the same. When I was 14 I had a major ankle sprain, I tore ligaments, and was out for a couple weeks. I had to be careful what I did and how I did certain things, but before I knew it I had full strength. My biggest academic goal for High School would be graduate top 10% of my class. My goals in the classroom mean just as much to me as my goals on the field. I have learned a lot about myself through playing this sport. The biggest is that I am mentally stronger than I give myself credit for. I am capable of doing a lot more than it may seem. I am extremely grateful to be where I am today.
