Leah Herrera '21 Recruiting Profile

I envision my college years to be a personal growth period. My academic goal is to pursue a degree in Law and play the sport I love while I obtain that degree. On the field I will strive to do my absolute best at every aspect of the game and keep a positive mindset during the toughest situations. As I grow physically and mentally throughout my college years I will strive to overcome all obstacles that come my way, not just as an athlete but also as a student. I will carry myself with respect and always have a good attitude on and off the field because I know that the way I conduct myself reflects on my teammates, coaches, and the school I attend. What sets me apart from all the other candidates vying for a position on your field is I will compete at the highest level and be mentally prepared for every aspect in the game; I will be a team player and a team leader by displaying communication and leadership skills. I will be the player you want in big game situations because no moment is to big for me. If the game is on the line I want to be at the plate or if we are on the field I want the ball hit to me.
