In order to expand my horizons for a successful future, getting a college education and having the honor of being a member of a collegiate softball team is my goal and I won't stop until I achieve it. I am a hard worker and am told often that I have an admirable work ethic. I look at my peers around me in today's society and strive to be the very best I can be, because I don't want to just be the average daughter, friend, student, or athlete.
By the time I graduate from high school, I will have earned 56 college hours. My priorities are God, my family, softball, and school. I watch too many "really talented kids" throw away wonderful opportunities because of bad decisions. I have always strived to be the exact opposite and sometimes that means that I am one of the only ones not doing what everyone else is doing. I am okay with that. I want a successful future, and sometimes that means making sacrifices.
I strongly believe that every day is a chance to be even better than the way you were the day before. I like to set goals and see how fast I can achieve them. It makes me hustle. I am looking forward to my future and building relationships with my coaches to be. Only God knows where it will be right now, but I am excited to use my talents that he has blessed me with.
Upon finishing my college education, I have plans of being a business owner and opening a huge softball facility with batting and training cages, and an outdoor field. I will have pitching and batting lessons available, as well as camps, and motivational speakers that come in for special events. Softball has been a huge part of who I am today, and I will carry it with me for the rest of my life.
