Casey McJunkin '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing baseball at about two years old and I fell in love with the sport. When I was ten I switched over to softball.  It came naturally although it was a little different. It was definitely the perfect fit for me.  At the age of eleven I played up on a 16 and under recreational team. It was a great experience to play with older girls and I learned a lot. In seventh grade and at the age of twelve, I was the starting third baseman for Daniel High School JV team. I was chosen by coaches as rookie of the year.  I played 14u USSA travel softball with Palmetto Crusaders summer 2016. I played High school USSA travel for the same team fall 2016 and was a starting utility player for them at the age of 13. Although i'm only in eight grade now I want to get my name out there. I want to play college softball. I am commited.  I would like a opportunity to get an education and play softball while doing it. I'm still young and developing my skills but willing to put in the work to become the best player I can be. Most importantly, I'm a Christian and I put all that I have in Gods hands, and I play for him.
