My name is Julia,I live in suburban Montreal ,and I play for the Quebec Rebelles and represent my home province of Quebec. As Canadian fastpitch players , we travel to the US to play most of our tournament games.I have played softball since I was five years old .
I am a good teammate, whether on the bench or in the field.
The desire to win as a team is the ultimate goal
As a pitcher, I throw strikes,and work at a quick pace.I throw a fastball,slow change, curve,rise , and drop.
I am also a power hitting 1B and RF.
I have improved every year and continue to do so . Always learning ,always working , always improving.
I received the u16 Quebec Rebelles most improved player in 2016.
In my academic career, I have maintained an average above 80 throughout high schools.I have also regularly been on the honor role at my school and maintain a 3.5 gpa.
I am currently in grade 11 and maintain a good balance between athletics ( softball ,basketball and flag football) and academics.
My goal would be to find a college that would allow me to pursue my dream of playing for a competitive team while studying in the sciences .
In September 2017,I received a bursary from The FAEQ(Fondation Athlétique Excellence of Quebec ) and was recognized for combining academics and athletic performance.
I was named a finalist for Quebec Female Softball Player of the Year in 2017 by Softball Quebec.
I know that if you recruit me that you will find a person who is a good athlete ,a great student and an even better person.I am looking for a school that will be able to offer the perfect blend of academic excellence while providing good athletic competition and an overall positive student lifestyle.
