You wont find another girl who brings as much determination and drive to the classroom and the field. I set very high goals for myself and I refuse to fail. I set examples for my classmates and teammates by leading! I have been the class president for three years, and as the catcher, I have to be the leader when we take the field. I keep my pitcher cool and in the moment and for the remainder of the team, I keep them plenty informed on the state of the game. The key to being a good leader though, is being respected and liked. Arrogance is not a trait of mine, but confidence is! A good team leader brings people together! And softball is a "together" sport!
My aspiration is to play for a school, that can prepare me and offer me the best education possible! Hopefully I am offered an opportunity to attend a competitive school in both education and softball.
Coaches often ask what makes me different then other players.....but "different" is not what makes me special, it is actually my ability to be "like" my other teammates! Softball is a team sport and I want all of my other teammates to have the same drive and dreams as me.
