Caroline Showalter '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Caroline Showalter.   I am the starting catcher for my travel team, Razorbacks Red.  I also play first and right field for my school ball team, but besides catcher and first I can play anywhere on the field except pitcher.  I hit right and throw right. I hit fourth for both my travel and school ball team. I have a strong arm and hit for power.  As a catcher I feel and love taking on the leadership role by taking the signs from my coach, calling the plays, helping my teammates, and when my coach let's me call the pitches myself.  My life revolves around sports, family, friends, and academics.  I play basketball and softball.  My goal is too continue my softball career in college.  That's why I wanted to make this profile.  Also my goal is to go to a college for a physical therapy field and sports medicine field.  I have been playing baseball and softball since I was 5 and have fallen in love with it.  My family is very supportive of me playing softball and continuing my career at the college level.  I would be a good choice for your team because I get along with everyone and I am always cheering on my team no matter what.  I love being a part of a team.  Thank you for looking at my profile.
