Callie Master '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Callie Master. I am currently a freshman at Big Beaver Falls Area High School. I have been playing fast pitch softball for four years & am currently in my second season of travel ball. Softball is my life & I love it. I have a 4.0 GPA so far this year & I am taking three honors courses. I am 5'7" & weigh 112 lbs. I have been in pitching lessons for four years & pitch around 58mph. I am a very hard worker & a very dedicated player. I am the starting pitcher for my travel team, Pittsburgh Spirit & I'm also the 4th batter in the batting order. Last season I pitched 23 games with 18 wins & 5 losses. I had a total of 107 strike outs, 25 walks, 6 shut-outs with only 50 runs against. I also had the highest batting average on my team of 422 in 50 games. It has always been a dream of mine to play softball in college. I would either like to go to college near home in PA or move down south if I had the chance. I am hoping on division I or II but I am opened to other schools as well. Right now I am thinking about majoring in Early Childhood Education. My goal is to be starting on a team as a freshman & to have good competition with other experienced players.
