Syriah Trujillo, ...Personal Statement
I am an incoming sophomore at Nyssa High School standing at 5'3 weighing 125. Although my passion is softball, I am a tri-athlete playing volleyball, basketball and softball. My weekly travel ball practices consist of 20 hours per week of defense, offense, and conditioning. This extensive amount of training has taught me to become disciplined in my skills and in my personal goals. Through out this year I maintained a 4.0 GPA receiving the Scholar Athlete award in both varsity Volleyball and Softball. My batting average ended at .492 which helped me become selected as Eastern Oregon League-2nd Team Infielder and Max Preps 'Player of the Game". My primary positions are 2nd and Catcher, but I can play any position needed for my team to become successful. This summer as I was selected to play in the TCS Jr. Sparkler All Star game, I then also was chosen to play in the All American All Star game in Westminster, CO. I cannot wait to see what my future holds, and I am ready to give 110% in all that I do.
