June 2014Personal Statement
Hi Coach,
My name is McKenzie Giancola, and I am a 2015 shortstop from Happy Valley, Oregon. I have been the starting varsity shortstop at 6A Clackamas HS since my freshman year, when my team finished 1st in league and 3rd in State. I was awarded all league honorable mention as a freshman. As a sophomore, I led my team in RBI's, extra base hits, and home runs; capturing another league title and 1st team all league honors. I was also awarded the Mac Scholar Athlete award my sophomore year for maintaining a 3.8 GPA while lettering in soccer, basketball and softball.
Although I am a multi-sport athlete, my love is softball, and I plan to play for a competitive collegiate program, while working toward my undergraduate degree in Pre Physical Therapy.
