Grace Anderson '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing in recent National level tournaments has helped me learn a lot about dedication and the type of athlete I want to be. Recently playing in Florida at the USA Elite Select Futures National Championship my team and I faced unusual weather and situations on and off the field. This experience along with other recent tournaments against high competition as helped me grow as a person and re-focus my efforts in becoming a better teammate and leader capable of playing at a college level. 

 I am fortunate to be a part of some great teams that teaches the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership without a trophy.  Between pitching lessons, practice and tournaments I am on the softball field or in the batting cages 4-5 days a week.  I listen to my coaches and am open to constructive criticism and corrections so that I can always improve my game in some way and I try very hard to learn from my past mistakes. I believe I have the talent, character, work ethic, and leadership to make an impact on a college program.

I carry a 4.0 GPA at my school and I understand how important it is to keep my grades at the highest level I can accomplish.  Right now, my goal is to become a nurse and I want to help deliver babies.  I am also interested in possibly becoming a teacher and coach.
