Amanda Casciato '17 Recruiting Profile

My ambition is to play at the college level and pursue a major of study that will at the end of my college career bring me great success.  I will do everything it takes to understand and work at what needs improving or strengthened in both areas of this goal.  I'm strong minded and am open to learning new things on and off the field.  I believe that to be successful in anything you do, you need personal goals. Whether these goals be simple batting techniques on the field or learning something new for your major of study. I love to be challenged and I'd like to find a school that will not only challenge me athletically but in the classroom as well,  I am a natural team leader and I will not only be motivation for myself but also those working with me. To create a strong bonded successful team you need tough leaders who will have the drive along with bringing the team together as a family. Softball is not a one person sport, you need to be well rounded and capable of change for the sake of the team.  I've learned in all the years of playing that to be playing the game in any way is a blessing and I should take any and every opportunity that I get to improve myself.  I believe that my love for the game will bring me to better accomplishments and success throughout my life.
