Marissa Norgrove '17 Recruiting Profile

My academics always come first and foremost with everything I do. I’m mostly in honor classes and work really hard for my grades. My grades are very good, I want to go into the medical field so keeping my grades up is really important to me. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that when I am pitching I don’t get rattled; I keep calm and work hard to get out of any situation. I am also very positive; I never try to bring myself or anybody down, I always try to look for the positive and bring that out in any situation. What makes me different is that I am very helpful, with coaches and my teammates. I give 100% in practice; it shows good leadership and I know that hard work in practice usually means good results in the game. I am very passionate about softball and it shows on the field.
