My name is Michaela Black and I'm a Junior at Elida High School in Elida, Ohio. I'm 5'6" and I weight 160 lbs, I love to work out and improve my skills any chance I get. I'm very competitive and driven to be the best, my leadership ability and good attitude is my greatest contributions to a team. I've always wanted to play softball in college and I see myself going to a school that will challenge me to improve my skills at the next level. Some of my goals for my freshman year in college is to start and help my team be the best we can be. My freshman year in high school I was awarded second team all Western Buckeye League and team offensive player of the year. Sophomore year I received first team all Western Buckeye League, all District Honorable Mention, and team MVP.
Some of my academic achievements are I have been an honor student since early middle school and I received the honor E award at my school during my sophomore year.I am also a Mathematics tutor at my school and I am very driven to be a good student and I put the same time and energy into my academics as I do into my athletics. I'm thinking about majoring in Psychology to help me reach my goal of being a forensic psychologist.
Thanks for taking the time to read my statement.
