Hey, I am Allison Harris. I am currently a senior at Anna High School in Anna, Ohio. I am currently the Anna varsity softball captain for the 2015 spring season. I am very determined at what I do, whether that be academics or athletics. I know what my goals are and I strive to accomplish my goals with the most prestigious actions. I consider myself an overachiever. When I start something, I have to finish it. I am also very competitive. I have to at least try to be better than others at everything and if I know I am not, I respect them. I have learned a lot from participating in sports. I learned that without mistakes, sports would not exist. That being said, when I make a mistake, I smile, learn, fix, and forget the problem that has just occurred. When my team mates make a mistake, I do not down them. I try to them learn and forget by either making them laugh and smile or congratulating them on a play. My family and I are very close and I know from my past teams that a team that is a family is always the better team. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I am trying to become as successful as I can and what I consider a step towards success is playing softball in college. So, you reading this makes me one step closer to success and my dreams. I pray that you will consider me for your team. Thank you again.
