I am very dedicated to Softball, and my education. I;maintain a;95+ average in school, and I am a member of National Honor Society. I am a 3 sport athlete , playing soccer, indoor track, and softball. I set very very high standards for myself and push my self to pass them. I am a;Junior this year at Waterloo High School. I am the varsity starting pitcher for the;3rd year this season. The past two;seasons I played Varsity as a freshman, and a sophomore.I helped lead my team to a sectional title in my freshman year. As an 8th grader;I played JV;and was the only person in my school to do so. ,I had to pass a strict ;physical fitness test at that level, I passed at Varsity level. I practice every day to push my self to become a better player, and to make my team mates better players. I firmly believe in letting my surroundings become a product of me and try very hard to lead by example and set the standard.;This year I lead my team to its first 9& 0 start.I pitched back to back no hitters. One against North Rockland High School and the second against Pal-Mac High School. I am a left handed pitcher and have been pitching since the age of 9. Pitching is my favorite part of softball and I am most dedicated to this. The keys to my success are my movement pitches, and ability to keep hitters off balance, with my multiple tools. I have a fastball, a change up, a drop , a curve , and a screw ;I am working very hard to develope my rise. When I am not on the pitcher's mound I normally;play outfield field or first base. Also, if I am not in the game,or on;the field, I am a DP for someone else or base running. As a hitter, I can bunt, slap, drag bunt, and hit for power. I am looking forward to becoming a better player every chance I get, and hopefully playing softball in college ,which is my ultimate goal. I also make an effort to teach younger players what I can ,and work to develope a following for our school softball team. I umpire little league games when My schedule permits.I plan to study Biology in college and stay involved with the game I love ,for years to come.
