Gabriella Longo '20 Recruiting Profile

What separates me from other recruits is my drive and how coachable I am. My goal is to learn from my mistakes and continue to get better physically and mentally and improve as I move higher and higher in my softball career. I take advice that is given to me not as harsh criticism, but as my coaches or trainers helping me to get where I need to be as a player. If I am told to fix something in my swing or my throw, even if it feels uncomfortable, I work on it to break my bad habits and get better. I am very determined to play my hardest and not get down on myself or get in my head if I make a mistake. I aspire to go to college for softball so I can get the guidance I need to be the player I know I can be. Being that I also play varsity volleyball and basketball in and out of school, I still manage to keep my average in the mid 90’s and get all of my work done. I am also in the honor society that helps in my community and throughout the school with many events and students for 60,000 that has many fundraisers to help raise money for food pantries and the homeless.
