Hi I'm Kelly Dovi. I am a 2017 graduate at Brewster High School in New York. I have a 3.7 GPA and take various AP and advanced/ honors classes. I am part of the National Junior Honor Society, the Mu Alpha Theta math club, I am a volunteer for the Special Olympic program in Brewster, NY, and was a peer tutor in eighth grade to help with the self contained students.
I play and start as a middle infielder and outfielder in both high school and travel ball. As a freshmen and sophomore I achieved all league and all section in Section 1 in New York State. As a sophomore I was nominated for the 1st team all state and nominated for player of the year for the Hudson Valley Sports Report Softball Dream Team. I was nominated MVP on the Brewster Varsity Softball team in our undefeated season as a Sophomore. I currently play travel ball for The Morris County Belles and this past summer season I earned the second highest batting average on my team with a 366 average. I had the 2nd most hits and led my team in the most singles and triples.
I am interested in the math and science subject areas and I am exploring the possibilities of majoring in psychology and engineering.
