Personal Statement

I am a three varsity sport captain, student athlete with an A average interested in continuing to play softball at a competitive college level. I am very active in my high school, a member of the National Honor Society, participating in many clubs and president student government.. I acquired a lifeguard certification, and I am an active member of the Girl Scouts of America currently pursuing my Gold Award. In high school softball I am an all section nominated player who lead the league in hitting this year.  I have been playing club level competitive national softball for 6 years as a pitcher and infielder. My team, The Junction Girls, has played in dozens of tournaments throughout the United States and we placed third in 2009 PONY Nationals. I am interested in going away to college; and have not yet decided what I am interested in studying. School size is not as important to me, as being enrolled in an academically challenging program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
