My name is Ariana Montoya and I am a 5'4" hardworking softball player. I am a sophomore at Atrisco Heritage Academy High School, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My most important accomplishment was making first team all-district my freshmen year. This award proved to me that I am working hard and if I continue to do so I am capable of playing at the collegiate level. Knowing that I could play at that level makes me so much more passionate towards this sport. It has always been a dream of mine to play softball in college.
I am always the first to step onto the field and the last to step off. I always play my best because I love inspiring the young girls who watch, just as I am inspired as I watch the college women play. When it comes to choosing which school I would like to attend, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at the southwestern states ( Arizona, Colorado, Texas, etc.) but I am very open to going anywhere. The size or location of a college does not matter, I just want to find a college that best fits me. As long as I receive a good education and play softball I will be happy. In the process of getting my education I would be in need of financial aid. My desired major is nursing, so finding a school with a good nursing program is important. I am not overly concerned of the division level, I just want to be part of a team. No matter what, I will step on the field every time and put forth my best effort and will continuously support my team. At the end of the day, if I can walk off the field knowing that I tried my hardest and made an impact on my team then I will be satisfied.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
