Personal Statement

I am a 5’8” high-energy utility player (Middle Infield/OF/Catcher) from Gretna, NE.  I am a 3yr starter/letter winner on the High School varsity team earning recognition as an All-Eastern Midland Conference Team player; Omaha World Herald All State Prep Team and a member of the All-EMC academic conference team. In addition to being the team captain for my high school team and my travel team (Omaha Echoes Illusion), I’m a distinguished student-athlete with a 3.82 GPA with a 25 ACT score.

My ambitions are to earn a quality education from an institution that offers a degree in athletic training or exercise science and has a softball program with a great reputation where I can contribute and make an immediate impact.  I am committed to becoming a better person through learning, good Christian values and contributing to making our community a healthier place to live.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. College equivalent level courses that I have completed and will complete by the end of my senior year: Physical Science Geometry Biology Algebra English Trigonometry Chemistry Anatomy and Physiology English Composition Psychology
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. English Literature was a rigorous class that demanded hours of work each day. It began with reading "1984" as a summer book and journaling about the underlying messages in the novel. Throughout the year, the class explored various forms of literature. Starting with Greek Mythology and then reading "A Tale of Two Cities". Further into the year students became more independent in their studies. The class ended with a detailed immersion into the Shakespearean Age and his writing, such as the play Macbeth.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
