Lexi Burkhardt So...Personal Statement
I have been playing competitive softball since I was 9 years old, primarily as a pitcher and middle infielder but feel that I am versatile and capable of playing multiple positions at the next level. I consider myself to be a student of the game who is very coachable and dedicated to working hard to be the best player and teammate I can be.
I have been an Honor Roll student since 6th grade along with being active in multiple sports (softball, volleyball and basketball). I am looking to attend a college that can challenge me academically as well as athletically. I plan on majoring in Health and/or Exercise Science with either a Pre-Med, Pre-Physical Therapy or Pre-Chiropractic focus.
I started Varsity every game my freshman year for a state tournament team that went 22-10. I broke the school single season records for triples, home runs, runs batted in and slugging percentage and was a First Team All-County, First Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-State Selection as well as being named Team Offensive MVP.
