Softball Factory ...Personal Statement
My name is Tomi Lightle and I'm a softball player. That is how I view myself and I have dedicated my time and worked very hard to be able to claim this. I pride myself in not only being able to play the game, but I also study the game and try to constantly improve my softball I.Q I also love science, math & music and plan to peruse a degree in physical therapy or something similar in the medical field.
A little about me:
· 3.588 GPA
· Only Freshman selected and starting for my High School softball team.
· Carried over .400 batting average for most of season.
· Awarded MRVC Academic All Conference 2017
· Selected to play on the Under-Armor Factory team.
· Nominated and played for USSSA Select 120 in Baton Rouge, LA
· Selected twice for MO-KAN All State games.
· Play travel Ball for Intensity out of Parkville, MO play many top tournaments all over the Midwest.
· Varsity Jazz Band, student of the month, 2x Physical Education student of the year.
My goal since I was 8 is to become a college softball player, I know I have the ability and the drive to perform at the highest level for whatever team decides to take a chance on me. I will not disappoint you, I will work hard, learn, and hopefully be the player and teammate any coach would be proud of.

- Camp Information: Select 30 All American Camp Invitation USA Elite Select would like to invite you to the 2017 Select 30 All American National Camp to be hosted August 18-20, 2017 in Baton Rouge, LA. This event will showcase the top athletes in the 2018 to 2023 graduation classes. You received this invitation via our player nomination process. The Select 30 All American National Camp will once again be held in conjunction with the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Championship Series. We are excited to partner with the premier championship event in professional fastpitch and bring the nation’s top amateur fastpitch players together to compete and showcase their skills. This three-day camp will serve as the qualifying process for the USA Elite Select All-American Teams. All athletes invited will go through two days of performance testing conducted by the All American Scouting Network (AASN) and will be competing for one of 30 spots in the Select 30 All American Games to be played on Sunday. This year the Select 30 All American Games will be aired live on FloSoftball! Players will also receive consideration for Flo Softball’s Hot 100 list.

- Position Projection: SS Evaluations Are Reviewed by Lea Ann Jarvis 07/19/2016 - College PREP - Liberty (Kansas City), MO Tomi is a 2021 SS with a strong skill set. At the plate she is a player who has a aggressive approach and swings hard. She is a solid contact hitter who demonstrates good barrel accuracy. Continuing to work on finishing her swing and using her legs more will see an increase in power production. At SS she is a sure handed fielder with a lot of range. She has good lateral movement and a solid backhand. Utilizing her angles with balls up the middle will add to her range even more. Overall Tomi is a player with loads of potential and with the proper coaching will excel at the next level.
