Emilie Barrera '21 Recruiting Profile

    The first time i stepped out on the field for myself i was about 5 years old. My brother played baseball and my sister played softball so i was all ways at there high school games growing up , because of what i had seen growing up from them and there teammates i have been able to accomplish slapping, switch hitting,and bunting from both sides of the plate . 

    I knew at a young age what I wanted to do in my life and that has allowed me to be coach able and a leader to others. I feel this has made me grow in a way many others don't because i do hold high expectations for myself I continue to have a high GPA,along with helping tutor some of my close friends. I am every active in my community i volunteer at the elf factory yearly, i have a high way pick up, i also volunteer to go during the summer for mission trips,  and often babysit for my church. 

    I am looking to go to a collage where I have to push myself but at the same time can make close connections with the people that are there. I am open to anything that works best with my goals. And I would like to play at the highest division possible.
