My ultimate goal is to obtain a degree from an amazing school that also gives me a chance to show my years of dedication to the sport I love.
As a player, I put all of my energy into the game no matter the situation or the score. As a teammate, I play as hard as I can and expect those around me to do the same.
I take pride in my dependability and consistency in my performance and preparation. While I am still growing physically continuing to add size and strength I continue to work as hard as I can to achieve my goals. I do my best to lead by example if needed taking the ball during injury and illness because thats what a competitor and teammate does and I want the ball in my hand when the situations are the biggest. It's a challenge to prove I can do what others may not think can be done.
Committed to my goal of becoming a pitcher on my first competitive team I worked tirelessly over winter break after being told I would not be given an opportunity due to our roster being full to ultimately become the teams number one starter the next season. Having a desire to hit left handed I recently transitioned from hitting from the right side into a slapper during the last off season and averaged over .600 for a large part of this past high school season.
While I'm always working on strengthening my softball skills, I also try and work just as hard in the classroom knowing that will help me in the future long after my softball career is over. I hope to find a school where I can contribute to an environment of success on the field and in the classroom and a place where I can prove I have what it takes to compete with the best of the best inspiring and challenging others around me to do the same.
