Hello, my name is Victoria Romero. I am 17 years old and a 2015 graduate. I have been the starting varsity catcher for the St. Martin Yellow Jackets for 3 years. This past year, my junior year, my batting average was .354, my OBP was .426, my slugging percentage was.500, and my OPS was .926. In the third game of district play against Biloxi, I hit a 3 run walk-off homerun and earned a spot on the 2014 All-District team. I play on Gulf Coast Storm tournament team in the summer and fall. I have been the starting catcher for Storm for 3 years. I have a 3.5 GPA, and in my senior year, I will be taking 5 AP and dual enrollment courses at my high school. I am currently enrolled this summer in College Algebra at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. I have put a lot of sweat, blood, and tears into playing softball, and it would be my dream to play at the next level. I am a hard-working, determined, fast learning, leader on the field, and I believe I will be an asset to any team. I take command of the field, direct traffic, calm emotions, and heighten morale. I am a team player, and I cannot wait to see what my future holds. Below is my summer softball schedule for Gulf Coast Storm:
June 13-15 in Gulfport, Mississippi
June 27-29 in Brandon, Mississippi
July 4-6 in Meridian, Mississippi
July 12-13 in Pensacola, Florida
July 23-27 in Gulfport, Mississippi
