Personal Statement
My collegiate goals include pursuing and achieving a Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine/Physical Therapy and playing for a program and coach that can maximize my talents. My plans are to further my education by earning a Masters degree as well. As an athlete, my goal is to play for a program where my skills and talents will help the team be successful, and I can continue to grow as an individual and an athlete. My attributes include being a team player, hard worker, dedicated person, coachable athlete, and a determined person. I give my all on the field and continue giving my all in the class room. I'm different from other athletes because I don't settle. In the batters box, during the game, every at bat, I settle for a different situation. If one at bat I didn't finish through my swing, the next I will fix it. If I get on base, but I know I didn't finish through, I will settle for getting on base but I won't settle for that swing. My number one goal in any situation is to execute and get on base. As an athlete you start realizing the game is more mental then physical. Then you start realizing it's just a ball that you're playing.
