When I was young, I was introduced to the world of Softball. Although I had other interests and hobbies, softball was the passion that kept fueling my need to excel in other areas. Simple enough, if I did not get good grades, I was not able to play softball. I view my time on the field as a gift to myself, my reward, and my dream is to play at the collegiate level. I will do what it takes to achieve this. I work hard everyday at the sport I love. I continue to attend training and have a fitness schedule that includes Cross Fit training.
I am in the Honors Humanities Program at Powers Catholic High School, with a 3.9 GPA, and I continue to take AP classes. I have volunteered in the Flint community and I am part of the Pre-Med Club as well as the Theatre Department. I also play Volleyball and I have performed as a dancer for over seven years.
In addition, I'm a leader both on and off the softball field. I am currently 5 feet, 10 1/2 inches tall and I am a standout at first base as well as a power hitter. My team spirit is something that I take pride in, and I am mindful that it is a "team" effort, my team, my family.
I enjoy playing various infield positions and have been told that I'm very versatile in infield. My tracking ability has always come natural to me in outfield positions and I continue to work on my pitching.
I want to play Softball at the collegiate level and attend a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to be a role model for other girls who have a love of Softball and I want to make my friends and family proud of me.
