My name is Kaylee Burnett and I am currently a 16 year old, 5’11” junior at Valley Center High School in Kansas. I will graduate in 2017. My current core GPA is a 3.7 and I am working very hard in bringing my GPA up carrying a 4.0 since my sophomore year. I am a pitcher, first basemen, and third basemen that will give one-hundred-and-ten percent at any challenge that is thrown my way. I have a powerful work ethic and I work great with other people. I put a lot of time and effort into what I have become today. Other than pitching, my favorite position on the field is first base because I like to be involved with almost every play on the field. I am a very loud, encouraging person, and I am a natural team leader that will contribute well to your team. I enjoy playing at the highest level of competition. My team and I have won (ASA and USSSA) state in the years 2010, 2011, and 2012. Together with my team, we have also won ASA Northern Nationals in 2010. In 2014, I attended the Triple Crown Nationals in Georgia in the 14’s division. My team and I took third in the gold bracket, and we took eleventh overall. I would like to go to college in a larger city and that has a warm climate. I would also like to attend a college that has a larger population size and that is away from home. I will need financial help to attend college. Thank you for your time in reading my statement and I look forward to communicating with you in the future.
