Hi, my name is Rachel Amershek. We play our season in the spring and our team won Regionals, and qualified to play in the 3A State Tournament in Manhattan, KS which was my freshman year. I started third base and was our #2 pitcher for our team. My coach let me know after our Regional Tournament that I've received 2nd team All-League pitcher. I also made the 3A All-state Team at 3rd base and was selected freshman of the year for our league. My sophmore year I started at third base and played that position as our coach went with a single thrower. Our team did get one of our goals as we won our league but lost in the second round at Regionals dening us that return trip to state. I earned 1st team All-League and All-County as I batted .409 for the year. My Junior year has started out by obtaining a personal goal as I was selected into the National Honor Society in the fall. I'm planning on receiving a college education that in return will allow me to play the game of softball. I've been playing softball since age 6. I've played on tournament teams since age 9 while competing in 2 USSSA and 2 ASA world series. One of my goals is to receive a quality education.
