I have a desire to advance my education and continue my softball career at the highest level possible for me. Where I attend college is wide open as of now. I believe in being a well rounded individual, education and athletics will help me achieve this. Athletically, since the age of four I have always played and competed at a higher level than my age. I believe that aside from my physical attributes, my leadership ability and work ethic will allow me to reach my future goals. Physically, I hit for power as well as average and have an above average arm. I have called my own game as a catcher since the third game of my freshman year even though it was only my first full season playing the position. After my freshman year, I received the "Coaches Award" for being a team leader and complete player. I was also brought up to the varsity late in the season and started as the catcher the remainder of the season, including 3A state playoffs. Sophomore year I was honored as an All-Conference Player. As a junior, I was honored with another All-Conference award as well as an Illinois Coaches Assoctiation All-State Selection.
