Personal Statement
Thank you for viewing my profile! I am a pitcher and first baseman at Plano High School in Plano, Illinois. I will graduate with the class of 2016. At Plano, I have been a starter and earned a varsity letter since my freshman year. I have six pitches: a fastball, a change-up, a drop ball, a screw ball, a curve ball, and a rise ball. I am also a natural left-handed batter, not a slap hitter. I have been playing competitive softball for six years. I will be playing with the Kishwaukee Valley Storm 18u team this current summer as both a pitcher and at first base. For both the Storm and at Plano, I bring an energetic and positive attitude along with the will to win. I am a real team player and a leader both on and off the field. I am very strong mentally and perform well under pressure, especially when I am pitching. Currently, I am undecided as to what I want to study at college but I do aim to put the student in "student athlete".
