My name is Abby Horton, I have been playing softball since I was seven. I started playing softball because I wanted to be just like my older sister, but I quickly grew to love the game. For as long as I can remember, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level.
I am a natural leader and try to be a good teammate by always encouraging my teammates, both on and off the field.
I also work very hard in the classroom and have managed to maintain a high GPA while playing multiple sports. I am a member of National Junior Honor Society and hope to continue on to National Honor Society when I am in High School. In my spare time, I volunteer at fundraising events for the NVS Memorial Fund, a charity in memory of a close family friend. I have also raised money for childhood cancer by shaving my head for St. Baldrick's and walking in multiple walks for LLS and breast cancer.
I hope to attend a college where I can push myself both athletically and academically and am open to all options.
