Personal Statement

My nickname is Cargo. I am 5'5", I weigh 125 lbs, and I have a lot of speed. I've been playing softball since I was eight years old, and I fell in love with the game instantly. Playing softball is my favorite thing to do when I'm not spending time with my family or in the classroom. As a sophomore, I was named all-conference and all-area and received the MVP award for my High School team. As a junior I was also named an all-conference player and recieved the MVP award. I am a very hard working and dedicated player. If I mess up during practice, I ask to go again. I always try my best to be early to games and practices. Also, I am very open to advice from coaches and other players. It is my dream to play college softball. It is also my dream to go to a big college that excels in its academic areas. I am interested in majoring in Early Childhood Education or an Elementary Education. I love working with children and helping them pursue their dreams. I would love to go to school anywhere in the United States. Some of my softball goals are to play as much as I can in college, to be a contributing factor to the team, and to gain a great experience from playing at the college level. I would love to play at the highest competitive level, but I know I would have to work even harder than I do now.
