Cierra Frields '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Cierra Frields. I'm a girl with big dreams that I know will come true someday if I work hard enough towards them. My goals for college is to get into a school with a good physical Therapy department to fulfil my goal of becoming a doctor of physical therapy, and that the college has a competitive softball program. I honestly couldn't imagine my life without softball. I couldn't quit even if I wanted to, it's a part of me, and it always will be. I grew up with this sport right beside me, and it's never going away. Although softball is my love, I don't throw academics aside when the practices start. I also make time for family and my friends as well, and I'm an active member in my church and youth group. God has blessed me with many talents, and I praise him each and everyday for the joy He gives me. I'm a hard worker, even when stress is high or spirits are low, I give it my all. I'm a quiet person, I usually keep to myself in school, but on the field I'm a leader on the mound. My favorite place to be in the field besides pitching would have to be the outfield. I know that I do not know everything, and I'm willing to learn from my teammates as well as my coaches. What makes me different is that I'm a leader, but I'm willing to take criticisms and learn from my teammates.
