Rebeccah Jones '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Rebeccah Jones. Preferably I go by Beccah. I'm 17, and a 5'7 RHP/ first baseman/ third baseman from Dixon, Illinois. I've played softball for a total of 12 years. I've played travel ball for 6 out of the 12 years over the summer and in high school season, I've been honored with being Honorable Mention All-Area. Out of softball, I participate in a club at my high school named B.L.I.N.D. This acronym stands for Building Lasting Impressions that Never Die. In this club, we help improve the student body by having retreats with other area schools and showing that we are all the same, but together we are the exact same. This allows people to meet new people and gain life assets. Also in this club, we give back to the community by volunteering.

As for college, I am looking for a college or university that has academic importance in the healthcare field. As for location, that does not matter to me, but preferably I would like a smaller school with on campus living. For Division level, I am looking at DIII or NAIA, yet I would go anywhere. I am willing to give anything a try. Along with college, it has always been a dream of mine to be able to play college level softball. I've always wanted to be part of a team that was to play at their highest level of ability of ball and be able to achieve it. Nothing else would make me happier than to be able to play softball at a collegiate level!
