Personal Statement

My goal intends to use my college years to prepare me for my next step of life. I plan to use the education skills I am taught, the teammates & friends I make, and the life lessons I learn while at college to help equip me to do that.

I feel what may separate me from others, is that I have been a coaches kid through my 6 years of travel softball. That meaning, I have always been expected to lead by example (i.e. - field prep before & after practices, giving 110% at all times, keeping grades above play level while in school, practice commitment, and picking up my teammates when they need it the most). I know those extra responsibilities have been hard work, but I know that good things will happen when you do.
