Hello, my name is Rachel Wallis and I am a senior at Danville High School in Danville, IL. I want to major in Athletic Training. I would also like to get an Associates in teaching to have something to fall back on if I can’t find a job as a trainer.
This past year, 2015, I was selected to play on an international team through AIST. I spent a little over two weeks in Italy playing softball, and traveling the country with girls from across the states. After the amazing experience I partook in Italy, I was asked back to play with AIST in the Dominican Republic for the summer of 2016. I am very proud to represent my country all over again.
I am a great recruit for your college team because of my work ethic and versatility on the field. I have played softball since I was young, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I believe I am different from other recruits, because I always have a positive attitude. When my team is down, I try my best to encourage and cheer them up. I’m the first person a teammate can call for help.
School plays a large role in my life. My priorities are God, Family, and Sports, but school is always comes first. I promise, if you are considering me as a future recruit for your program, I will be the hardest worker on and off the field.
