I aspire to play collegiate softball at the highest level I possibly can. This aspiration has a lot to do with my support system as my parents, siblings and grandparents always push me to be the best I can be in everything I do. Softball for me, started when I was 8. I had never before played any sports competitively, and softball seemed like a good fit for me so I started park league. Almost immediately I fell in love with the game, and I haven't stopped playing since then, moving to higher and higher levels of competition as the years go on. Playing softball has taught me how to not only be a team player, but also to be a leader both on and off the field. On the team, I bring energy as I cheer for my teammates and try to talk constantly on defense. It is my job both when I play catcher and third base to make sure everyone around me knows what they are doing on the next play, so I make sure to talk before each play.
