Megan O'Brien '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, I'm Megan O'Brien currently 17 & attending Central Community High School as a senior. I live in a small town in Aviston, IL and have all my life. I'm 5'9'' and weigh 140 pounds. I have played softball and basketball ever since grade school. I enjoy to go deer hunting and fishing with my father. I have participated in a traveling team since 5th grade called Trenton Thunder. I'm an extremely competitive person and hate to lose. I always give 100% effort. In basketball I recieved the "Hustle Award". I've always wanted to take my softball career to the college level. I would like to attend college somewhere near IL, like IN, MO, or KY. I am pretty open minded on what type of college I would like to go in. Change is always good! Playing sports through out my life, I was guaranteed an injury at some point. Which isn't the point, but these injuries lead me to take physical therapy and that's how I discovered what my desired major would be. I would love to help people and bring them back to whatever they desire! I would be honored to be on ANY college softball team, just to reach my goal in life!
