Kaycee Wilhoyt '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Kaycee Wilhoyt and I am a junior at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Bradley, Illinois. I love softball and would like an opportunity to play for a college or university after high school. During the high school season, I play shortstop, catcher, 3rd base, and second base. For my summer travel team I play 3rd base, catcher, second base, and outfield if the coach needs me. I am a 5'2 athlete and weigh 125 pounds.I love to play hard, get dirty, and give 100% all the time. I like to motivate my teammates, calm my pitchers down if they need it, and lead by example. I am always looking for ways to improve through practice, off-season hitting and fielding, and conditioning. I always respect my coaches and value their opinions and help. My goals are to be a top level player, and be a four year starter. On the education side, I currently have a 3.0 grade point average and have been on the honor roll since my freshman year. I also have had perfect attendance since the sixth grade. I am interested in becoming a high school mathematics teacher and maybe a principle or superintendent.I want to be math teacher because I feel like that's my strongest subject. The ideal school for me would be one that is as happy to have me there as I am to be there, both academically and athleticly. I have tremendous school spirit and I look forward to bringing my excitment and enthusiasm to the next level.
