Mary Wileman '15 Recruiting Profile

My dream and goal is to take my skills to the next level. I am a hard working player who strives to be the best in any position. I am always looking to improve my skills and never quit working until I get it right. I have cannon of an arm with pinpoint accuracy. I can throw from the fence in right field to third base with no bounce. I can play any position the coach wants me to help the team. I was a starting varsity catcher for two years (2012-2013). In 2014, I played 2nd base to help the team was all conference. I am a dedicated player and always show up early to practice and help girls at the end who want extra help. The only time I have ever missed practice is when I was horribly sick. I am also a positive influence on my team mates. If one of them is feeling down I will go out of my way to talk to them and make them feel better. Along with playing my favorite sport, softball, I strive to be a great student. The whole point of going to college is to study and get a degree so you may have a great career. What I am looking to major in is Forensic Science or Special Education. If I was able to strive in all my classes and play the sport that I love, my years at college would be a blast!
